Online Foster Application
Karnes County Humane Organization (KCHO) is a VOLUNTEER organization helping dogs and cats at the City of Kenedy and Karnes City Animal Control facility as well as strays around the Karnes County area. We have limited knowledge of the dog/cat’s prior experiences or health.
By completing and signing this application you are saying:
KCHO does pay for all medical care for the FOSTER pet. The FOSTER parent will treat the FOSTER pet as a family member and contact KCHO immediately by calling Rhonda at 830-583-2212 if any medical or behavior issues arise.
Contact Rhonda if your FOSTER pet is lost or stolen. General questions that do not require immediate attention can be emailed to [email protected].
Contact KCHO immediately if you plan on leaving town or going on vacation, never leave your FOSTER pet in someone else’s care without the permission of KCHO.
Never tie or chain up your FOSTER pet. The FOSTER pet must be kept indoors. Fostering pets outdoors is allowed only with permission from KCHO that the area is safe, secure and will protect the pet from all elements. An indoor crate is best; KCHO is not responsible for any damage caused because the pet was left unsupervised in the home. A crate and food can be provided if needed.
